1. Mold stamping forming
Advantages: Low processing difficulty and high processing efficiency;
Disadvantage: Using a bottom mold stamping to stretch and shape the platinum sheet, due to local stress, the wall thickness of the stress area will be thinner than other parts, and the overall thickness of the crucible will be uneven, ultimately affecting the service life of the platinum crucible.
2. Spinning forming
Spinning forming process refers to the process of forming metal materials by mechanically rotating the sheet material from point to line to surface, and applying a certain amount of pressure in a certain direction to deform and flow along this direction.
The spinning process overcomes the drawback of only local points being subjected to force in mold stamping, making the entire metal surface uniformly stressed. Therefore, the finished product has uniform wall thickness, high processing accuracy, and a significantly longer service life compared to traditional mold stamping processes.
At present, in the field of platinum product processing in China, such as platinum crucibles and platinum yellow crucibles, the vast majority of factories use traditional grinding tool stamping technology to process the bottom of the crucible cup. The outer edge of the crucible adopts welding technology, which cannot significantly improve product quality; Using the plate spinning process to process platinum products such as platinum crucibles and platinum yellow crucibles, the plate is formed in one go and the outer edge does not need to be welded, resulting in a significant improvement in product quality compared to traditional processes.
Features of finished products produced by spinning process:
1. Surface smoothness
2. Uniform wall thickness
3. Sheet material is formed in one go, without seams or solder joints
4. High product accuracy
Effect of Spinning Process on Finished Products: In the field of crystal growth, due to the smooth surface of the crucible, uniform wall thickness, easy control of temperature field, and no seams in the entire crucible, it provides necessary conditions for the growth of high-end crystals.
