Crucible and its usage method

When a solid needs to be heated by high fire, a crucible must be used. When using a crucible, the lid is usually tilted on top of the crucible to prevent heated objects from jumping out and allow air to enter and exit freely for possible oxidation reactions. Because the bottom of the crucible is very small, it usually needs to be installed on a mud triangle before it can be directly heated with fire. The crucible can be placed upright or diagonally on an iron tripod, or it can be placed on its own according to experimental needs. The crucible should not be placed on a cold metal table immediately after heating to avoid cracking due to rapid cooling. It should not be placed immediately on a wooden tabletop to avoid scalding the tabletop or causing a fire.
